Michele Di Filippo is an Italian composer and guitarist. After training as a guitarist and graduating with honors from the Licinio Refice Conservatory in Frosinone and he began a career in composition that led him to take an interest in both classical and popular music. In 2017, he obtained a Bachelor Diploma in Film Music Composition from the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, where he conducted his own orchestral compositions in venues such as the In 2017, he obtained a Bachelor Diploma in Composition for Film Music at the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, where he conducted his own orchestral compositions in venues such as the Auditorium Parco della Musica and the Teatro Eliseo. In 2019, he obtained a Master Diploma in Composition at the Conservatory of Frosinone, presenting the Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra Les six réflexions. His production includes music for guitar, chamber music, and symphonic music, regularly performed in festivals and concert halls throughout Italy and also broadcast by Vatican Radio and Rai Radio 3. He is the author of numerous publications for guitar for Sinfonica Edizioni Musicali and Da Vinci Publishing. He is very active in the recording field, with recordings for labels such as Da Vinci Publishing, with whom he released the album Roland Dyens Guitar Works in 2020, and Brilliant Classics, producing two projects dedicated to the music of Antonio Ruiz-Pipò in 2022 and Albert Harris in 2025. He has won national and international performance and composition competitions, and recently won the “Giuseppe Antonio Rossi” Prize at the 2025 edition of the 5th Francesco Mario Pagano International Composition Competition, with a composition for violin and string orchestra.
