Yvon Demillac was born in Saint-Brieuc on Armor’s coasts, in 1954.
After a premier prix on cello, he began studying guitar with Carel Harms and Alexandre Lagoya.
After getting his certification, he successively created guitar classes in the Vichy school of music, and then in the regional conservatory of Angers.
Encouraged by Sylvain Lemay, he now composes short pieces for guitar that often depict seashore scenes. His lastest books have been dedicated to Marlène Lemay.
