Born in the mountains of Minas Gerais, Brazil, Octávio Deluchi is an artist whose work centers on the classical guitar and Brazilian music, spanning recordings, arrangements, performances, and diverse collaborative initiatives. As a performer, he has received more than fifteen national and international awards and has appeared in concert series and festivals across Brazil, Chile, the United States, and England. His most notable performances include appearances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Americas Society, BNDES, Sala Sérgio Magnani, and AV-Rio Concert Series.

He is the director of the Mostra de Violão da Lira Ceciliana, a founding member of AssoVio Vertentes, and the coordinator of BCGC – Brazilian Classical Guitar Community.  In 2024, he founded SERTÃO Americas, a multimedia platform dedicated to cultural initiatives and creative needs ranging from audiovisual production to music projects, including educational programs such as Jacarandá. As a pedagogue, Deluchi has spent over thirteen years developing a comprehensive approach to guitar education that emphasizes the instrument as a form of artistic expression. Based in New York since 2021, he currently teaches at EzraGuitar (Manhattan & Brooklyn) and at Stony Brook University, where he works with undergraduate students.

His artistic development has been shaped by prominent musicians such as Guilherme Vincens, João Luiz, Robert Trent, Paulo Martelli, Fábio Zanon, Vladmir Agostini, and Ian Guest. He has studied at several institutions throughout his academic journey, including the Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ–MG, Brazil), Radford University (VA, USA), and Stony Brook University (NY, USA).
